Our Story
Thermal Modification Technologies started out in 1955 under the name Beaver Heat Treating Corporation. Since then, we moved to a larger, better equipped facility in 2013.
Despite our growth in both the services we’re able to provide, as well as our industry experience, some things have remained the same for TMT. We are still family-owned and operated, powered by an amazing team and dedicated to quality customer service.
Thermal Modification Technologies is grateful for the opportunity to serve the heat-treating needs of the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
Our Mission
The mission of Thermal Modification Technologies is to strengthen products, people, and partnerships. As heat treaters, we don’t make parts–we make our customers’ parts stronger through persistent quality and excellent service.
That means that while we don’t manufacture parts ourselves, we are the ones responsible for ensuring that those products are strong, durable, and meet the standards of the industry they’ll be serving. And while we are improving the durability of our customers’ products, we similarly seek to strengthen our relationships with our customers, our vendors, and our community at large.
